Personality & Traits

General Overview Syth is the child of outcast Vulcans who follow the way of V'tosh ka'tur. As a result, he does display emotions but still adheres to a strong sense of logic.
Strengths & Weaknesses Strengths:

Advanced Scientific Knowledge and Mental Discipline. Is also a practitioner of Suus Mahna, but by no means an expert.

Weaknesses:

Social Disconnect - He does not have the emotional withdrawal that most Vulcans give off but often comes across as overbearing because he leans into his emotions so much.

Arrogance - Syth has strong cultural pride in Vulcans, but specifically of his way of thinking. He often clashes with Vulcans and those that adhere to a strict sense of logic.
Ambitions He aspires to become an admiral not for power, but to influence Starfleet policy toward exploration and scientific advancement. He believes Starfleet has become too militaristic.

In addition, he wants to contribute to a fundamental scientific theory or discovery (e.g., a new propulsion method, alien language decoding, or temporal physics model) that redefines a field and serves as a legacy of logic-driven achievement.

Hobbies & Interests He enjoys learning about other cultures and how they embrace emotions. Syth hopes he can take this knowledge back to Vulcans one day.

Personal History Syth is a son of two Vulcans that were V'tosh ka'tur - Vulcans that embraced emotions and logic. He grew up in a colony of like-minded individuals, including Romulans that disavowed their empire. As a result, he learned about other cultures from an early age.

One of his personal heroes was Spock and he found his ability to balance his human side with his Vulcan side incredible. Syth believed that he was proof that Vulcans did not need to eschew their emotions - only simply control them. Motivated by this, he joined Starfleet.

Before he left for Starfleet, his family attempted to put him in an arranged marriage with a Romulan girl. He declined their attempt and left for Earth.
