Diplomatic Masquerade
Location: Sixth Order Warbird 1
Gul Maccet sipped the Kanar from a glass, wrinkling his nose in disgust as the liquid offended his palette. He had traded his good vintages for the information now before him and whilst the liquor was offensive - the information was far from it. His informant had gone above and beyond to obtain the most recent files from the Liberty. Crew manifest, blueprints, tactical weaknesses, the works.
" Well well well" He mused to himself in the darkness of his office, the embrace of the alcohol warming his belly from the inside.
The scrolled through the blueprints, memorising the important details before getting to the most important detail. The crew.
True to their word the Federation had sent through the names and very brief dossiers of the attending personnel. His heart skipped a beat when he saw one of them. Revenge would be his and it would be so very very sweet.
Lt Drake was the chief diplomat - a vulcan human species intermix that raised his eyesbrows. She would be a tough nut to crack with both Vulcan logic tempered by human emotion.
Lt Commander Vitari was also a human hybrid, although her file was apparently highly classified and had only very few basic details. A wildcard maybe.
Commander Savar was the Chief Counsellor.. no... wait... First Officer now. Maccet scrolled through the Commanders file as if to find any juicy intel. Nope - Vulcan through and through Savar was as logical as they came.
Then there was the Captain. The dear sweet Captain's who's dying breath would be at his hands as she begged him for mercy. She would pay for his humiliation years ago, she would pay for his months rotting in a Federation penal colony. Her file was slightly more extensive, however it was the other information his operative had provided that was of most interest. The Captain's Husband - a Bajoran named Remal was on board. He remembered the man from their altercation on the Sunfire. Could this be used to his advantage? Could he use both Remal and her own diplomatic team against her? Plots and twists filled his mind and he couldn't help but let a sadistic laugh escape his lips. The players were set, soon he would set his game in motion.
