Mission: Diplomatic Masquerade
Location: USS Liberty
Timeline: After Dinner

Remal was busy in their shared quarters helping to assemble his new kitchenette, and by helping that is, standing back and watching as others did the work. He wanted to help. He knew he could help, but this job was theirs to do and not his and he had to trust in the idea that they knew what they were doing.

As he sat back, fighting the urge to comment he habitually had been scratching at his face every few minutes. As a man who had recently shaved he thought nothing of the fact that his clean face itched a bit and subconsciously continued to scratch an itch.

Bonnie had missed the dinner due to how short it was and the timing of her discovery. By the time she arrived Ronson was cleaning up the leftover food. In a huff she ask, "Do you know where the Captain ran off to after the Envoys left?"

“I think she escorted them to the transporter room, and by now she’s probably back in her quarters, or even she’s really moving she may even be back on the bridge - I haven’t factored in stride length and determination factor” Ronson replied idley, happily tidying up after the dinner. He loved to see the universe and if he had to clean a few plates to do it - he was happy to oblige.

"Thanks. I'll check there first." She turned in a flurry of gold and brown, her uniform and her bushy curled hair, and was gone. Minutes later she stopped at the Captain's quarters on deck 2 and pushed the chime. She was greeted by Remal's gentle voice and she entered to see a flurry of work being done on the kitchenette.

"I take it you weren't happy with the way it was?" She asked with a jovial smile on her face.

He looked up at her and replied, "It needed adjustment." Then he stood to his full height. "It was a wee short." Bonnie looked from Remal to the kitchenette and realized it had been built with someone her size in mind, not his towering frame. She immediately felt her back ache as she pictured Remal trying to cook hunched over the tiny counter space.

When she peered back at Remal she noticed him scratching a red irritation on his cheek. He asked, "so what brings you back to ole Remal? Need another Jumja?"

This brought her back to the matter at hand. "Oh, right. I was looking for the Captain and was told she was here."

"Nope. She's probably on the bridge by now." He scratched his face again. "You know you could have just asked the computer for her location."

"I know. I forget that feature sometimes. It's more enjoyable to play seek and find though, don't you think?" She watched as he scratched some more, the redness growing. "Um, are you okay? That doesn't look normal."

He processed what she was referencing "This, yeah I think I may have had an allergic reaction to my razor or something. Why is it bad?"

She nodded in earnest, "Bad enough to have a doctor look at it." She squinted and looked closer. "I think it's spreading." Then she backed away, her nose turned upward, her face in the eww gross pose.

"Thanks Ill have the good doctor take a look. It is starting to get hot on my cheek." He motioned to the area where Rhenora had kissed him and touched his cheek earlier.

"Okay, let me know how it goes. I have something to share with the Captain." And just like that she was gone again like a little fireball of energy.
