Captain Kaylen Rhenora regarding the stars as they drifted lazily by the large windows that graced one of the ships many recreational mess halls. Replicators buzzed away, the bar seemed busy and the Captain was quite content simply watching from a secluded corner of the room.

The crew seemed to be working together well from all reports of their first shift, no major mishaps, a few teething problems which was to be expected.

She smirked as the ships Infiltration Specialist seemed to magically board after the Liberty had pulled out of board. Infiltration was the name - infiltration apparently was also the game.

" Captain Kaylen, there is in incoming message for you" Ops paged her, and she replied with a request to route it through to the padd she had placed on the couch next to her. Opening the message she was disappointed to read that LT Trell had been recalled to Starbase 234 pending an investigation into the bar incident. Apparently there were now charges involved. The Starbase were now sending a transport to pick him up to answer those charges. The Liberty would have to do without their Chief Helmsman for a while it seemed. Responding to the message Rhenora reviewed the crew manifest and allocated the next most highly skilled pilot the role of Alpha shift Chief Helmsman. Nothing like crew changes only 10 hours into a cruise.

With all the 'work' attended too once more the Bajoran leaned back against the couch and sipped her spring wine. Content to be there but not actively involved in any of the comings and goings. A wise elder once taught her you could learn many things from simply observing others. The skill had proved invaluable over the years, and would no doubt prove invaluable again.
