Judge Not

Posted on Fri Aug 28th, 2020 @ 7:05pm by Commander Savar cha'Salik hei-Surak Talek-sen-deen

Mission: Welcome Aboard!
Location: Chief Counselor's Office
Timeline: Current

Savar sat alone in his office as he reviewed the files of the crew of the USS Liberty.

Captain Kaylen, was no doubt a skilled and experienced commanding officer but she trusted her 'gut' instinct sometimes too much over facts. An often her actions could be viewed as irrational. A fact to watch for as they got into more serious missions.

Commander Lexington, the Executive Officer and Kaylen's right hand. She was a quick thinker and a skilled warrior. She was also stubborn to a fault which could prove problematic later.

Lt. Cmdr Vantic, the Chief Security/Tactical Officer. He was mentally focused for whatever the mission was. Unfortunately he was also uncomfortable in social situations. Not someone to bring to diplomatic functions.

Lt. Durnell, the Computer specialist. She talked to computers, understood their language and them. However her understanding and communicating with people still needed work.

Lt. K'NiH, the Chief Science Officer was a product of Vulcan and Klingon. She was smart but that intelligence was also burdened with a Klingon temper and the tendency with being scatterbrained.

Ensign Cavanaugh was Orion and the Liberty's Language Specialist. She was graceful, fluid and athletic. A quick learner. She was also rash bordering on fool hardy.

Lt. Cmdr Kolen the Chief Medical Officer, was an outstanding doctor among the best in the Federation. He also had the bad habit of not knowing when to quit and that habit had gotten him in trouble with his superiors.

Lt. Cmdr Vitani was a human hybrid. She was also the Liberty's Infiltration Specialist. She possessed a strong curiosity coupled with a lack of focus at times. Which led t o some to classify her as bipolar.

Lt Drake, the Liberty's Diplomatic Officer was a Vulcan/Human. She was an excellent Ambassador. Her diplomatic skills were above reproach. However she also had the annoying tendency to try to fix the impossible.

Savar sat back and closed the files and closed his eyes. The Liberty crew was diverse to say the least. Each with their own set of skills and strengths as well as weaknesses. However he did not judge them rather he accepted and valued them and would help any of them any way he could.
