It Never Ends

Mission:
Welcome Aboard!
Location: Bridge
Captain Rhenora Kaylen sighed as she ducked into the bathroom, swapping her dirty and torn uniform for a fresh one and redid the mess that had become her hair. The call to the bridge didn't sound urgent but obviously something required her attention.
"I'll catch you later" She called to Remal as the jogged from the room, hoping that he would understand. They had so much talking to do, so much to rediscover, so much expectations to put to rest.
The trip to the bridge was a swift one, the turbolift ride from deck two to deck one took all over a second. Ronson was waiting for her when she arrived, yet another stack of padds along with a cup of steaming hot coffee in his hands.
" More reports?" She raised an eyebrow, accepting the coffee first.
" Always Captain, in the XO's absence they're all yours unless you delegate them to the 2XO. Oh, the ship's internal sensors picked up some kind of temporal distortion in the XO's quarters approximately 30 minutes ago, although the sensors are glitchy glitchy so should I assign that to Engineering to look at after they get the engines back online?" Mitchell rattled off, reading from one of the padds as he briefed the Captain.
" Assign it to Engineering...I'll have someone check out her quarters when I get a second" Kaylen replied, making a mental note to do just that when things settled down a little. Right now everyone was focused on repairs and getting back to Starbase 234 for some more thorough repairs and to hand the Orions over to starbase security. There was so much to do that it made her head hurt just thinking about it.
Sitting in the command chair she send a series of instructions to her crew, hoping to find some sort of order amoungst the chaos.
Bonnie would like into the engines, Tyroh with the help of Vitari and Zinzeria would question the Orions and try and clean further information regarding their attack and their 'higher ups'. She would need Savar to assist in co-ordinating crew rosters and monitor crew morale. Then of course there was the temporal disturbance in the XO's quarters.
Rhenora sipped her coffee again and assigned the temporal disturbance to any available crewmember who had the time to look into it. If no-one got onto it within the next few hours she'd run a cursory tricorder scan herself.
It was going to be a long day after a long night.
