Captains Log - Supplemental

We are currently mid way through the Bajoran Wormhole, investigating a centuries old ship we have discovered of Bajoran design. It appears to be stuck in some kind of temporal distortion, whether this is a deliberate act by the Prophets, or a misfortune of fate we have yet to determine. The only thing we know is that there are lifesigns that flicker in and out with the temporal fields. I feel obligated to do whatever we can to assist to rescue them.

Our away team is in the process of returning - a process made difficult by the temporal distortions. As they return into our time frame we are beaming them back, a process I hope will prove successful in retrieving the entire team. Perhaps we can rescue the original crew this way as well? I feel we need a little more information.

Due to the nature of the wormhole we are unable to call for assistance, so we are on our own in helping these poor people. I only pray we are successful.
