Mission: The Jungle
Location: Main Engineering, USS Liberty
Timeline: Right Before The Game

Thriss was in Main Engineering. He was working on rerouting controls to different consoles and fixing damaged eps conduits. Needless to say, it was a fairly slow day. Currently he was working on a few different consoles that needed to be fixed, and repaired.

"Ensign, reroute power to consoles 8, 9, and 10, and then we can fix consoles 13, 15, and 19."

"Aye sir", said the Ensign. The Ensign worked at the console for a few moments, and the power was rerouted.

"Good, now lets work on the broken consoles to get them repaired, then we can reroute the power back", said the Andorian. "After that we can fix the damaged eps conduits."

After around 30 minutes of tinkering, the consoles were fixed. "Alright folks, now lets work around the clock to get those conduits repaired, and then we can have most of the days work done."

After that whole ordeal, Thriss walked into his office and strolled over to his replicator.

"Coffee, with cream please", he said to the replicator.

Seconds later, the coffee appeared from the replicator, and he sat down at his desk to go over a small stack of padds on his desk, mainly engineering reports, and stuff that wasn't too important. But nevertheless, he wanted to get it done. An hour and a half later he was nearly done.

"Computer, begin personal log. Personal log Lieutenant Thriss Kla'ren. So far I have been the Liberty's Chief Engineer for about a week. In that time, we have been pretty efficient with our normal tasks as engineers. However, I do hope I have made a good first impression on my department. This past week has been pretty uneventful, but I spent nine years on the USS Varley on many deep space missions, so it's alright. However, we are still going to be in deep spa-", suddenly Thriss was interrupted by the ship going to red alert status, "Pause log", he said to the computer, and he made a beeline for his office door, and stumbled into Main Engineering, as a few eps conduits ruptured.

"Why are we at red alert, any status from the bridge?"

"Negative sir, the lights are going crazy, and most of the consoles are down!", replied a crewman, as another console exploded. He tapped his combadage, "Kla'ren to bridge, what the-". An eps conduit exploded right next to him, and knocked him down. As he struggled to get up, he noticed the rest of the personnel being beamed out unexpectedly. He tapped on his combadge again but there was no response. Soon after he felt a shimmer, and he was elsewhere.

After that chaos, he woke up in some kind of holding cell, and reached for his combadge, but he realized that it was gone, and so was his jacket, and his equipment that he had on him. He got up and noticed the rest of the senior officers and bridge crew were either his cell, or others close by. After that, the cell opened, and guards walked in and escorted the occupants out. After a few long moments of listening, and scanning the area for the rest of the senior officers, including the Captain, he then realized he was being beamed to a certain location in the radius of the game area. After he arrived in the wilderness, he was alone. Needless to say, that was an unexpected turn.
