A Pair of Star Crossed Hunters

Mission:
The Jungle
Location: Jungle
Timeline: Current
Hunter one raised his fist, a signal to stop forward movement. Hunter two stopped as directed. The lead hunter wore a helmet similar to Bonnie's but hunter two only had a hood. Both carried weapons but Bonnie's target was the primary hunter. She needed that helmet and badge.
"Target located. Position pinned down." He spoke through his comms. "Detecting weapons fire up ahead."
"Who is she firing at?"
"Looks like she is scared and just randomly firing to make it more difficult to get to her. See if you can circle around that way, come up on her flank."
"Aye." Hunter two moved off into the wooded overgrowth, slowly hacking his way through.
They had separated making for two easy to pick off targets. She crouched low, holding a small rock in her good hand. The rifle was set upon the ground, propped upwards by two small rocks and set to fire random stun shots. She knew she was a bad shot. Her only option was to distract and attack.
"Closing on the source of the point of firing. No visual on target."
"This damn jungle environment! I'm approaching, ugh" he proclaimed as he hacked another branch. "10 meters to target."
He was closer than he knew. Bonnie could see his shape through the brush. Two steps away. She casually tossed the rock away, creating a distraction. As soon as he heard it he turned in its direction. She launched from the undergrowth striking his midsection and knocking the wind out of him.
She then took her hands and using the Federation standard punch, she struck his gut, then his face as he bent over in pain. The one-two punch knocked him out cold, as he lay face down on the jungle floor. She wasn't out of the woods yet, literally.
She quickly searched his body, finding little to work with besides an earpiece he was using for communication. She plucked it from his ear and placed it into her own. Then she pried the machete from his hand and turned her sights on Hunter number 1.
"Target sighted. It's just a rifle set to randomly fire. I'm holding position. Be careful, target may be lurking nearby." Came the call from Hunter 1.
Now that hunter 2 had cleared a path, she could easily follow and come up behind hunter 1. He was along the edge of the ravine, now trapped between her and her rifle. She crept as quietly as possible through the belly of the green until she came back to the ravine edge, then turned back towards the cliff wall where she had left her rifle to fire.
Silently she rounded the bend until she had a bead on her target. His back was towards her, as he watched for his fellow hunter. "What's your status? I'm getting tired of waiting on your slow ass." No response. "Hale! Where the hell are you?" He yelled into the ear piece.
She knew she had to act fast. Dropping all pretenses, she lowered her head and rushed forward.
