Back on duty and back with her favourite beverage in hand Captain Kaylen Rhenora enjoyed the quiet efficiency that permeated the bridge of a starship. People moved with purpose but not hurried, conversations purposeful and interactions meaningful. It was a pleasure to not only observe but the a part of.

"Captain, ETA to Starbase 234 is 15 minutes. " The helm officer announced purposefully, the viewscreen now changing to put perspective on the slowly growing Starbase. The Orion ship was still in tow, seemingly like a bad pony that had been scolded and was now dragging its feet. The Orions themselves were safety tucked into the Liberty's brig and had been thoroughly questioned by the security and intelligence teams. Time to hand them over to the authorities and get back to business.

" Very good Ensign, advise the Starbase we have prisoners to hand over and the Orion vessel to consider as evidence of a deeper syndicate." Rhenora instructed as the Starbase grew ever larger on the viewscreen.

" Yes Ma'am. A security detail will meet us at docking port 15 for the transfer"

With the Orions taken care of the Liberty would need some minor repairs from their altercation before receiving their first mission orders. Within a day or so it would be time to hit the road running.
