Mission: Healing of Minds
Location: Savar/Aurora's quarters on Vulcan
Timeline: Current

Savar extradited himself from Aurora and slowly rose from their bed here on Vulcan. He dressed in pajama pants and went into the next room to think on recent events, particularly the killing of Gul Maccet.

His blood fever had past as he and Aurora had bonded and became one. However as satisfying and pleasing as that was it not remove the problem before him. How would Starfleet react? Would they accept the fact he was under the influence of Pon'farr and had also saved his Captain's life? It was unclear. Then there were was the Cardassian High Command. Would they know they true story of Maccet's deceit? If they did would they accept his actions and look for no other punishment?

In addition there was Captain Kaylen. How would she view this? No doubt she was grateful for his intervention but would she also question his use of deadly force? These were all unknowns that he tried to analyze logically but could not come up with a definitive answer.

Finally there was Aurora. His wife. He loved her dearly and he knew she loved him with equal passion. However now there was a real possibility of him facing time in a prison and no matter how much she loved him, he knew prolonged time apart would affect their relationship. So he sat here in the dark, questioning his actions, questioning his future. For a man who always had answers. He had none.
