Alerting the Authorities

Mission: Healing of Minds
Location: Ready Room

The Captain of the Liberty made her way from Sickbay straight to her ready room. As much as she hated it she knew that she had to cancel shore leave until this current situation was dealt with. Hopefully after that time they would have a little time left before Command gave them a new mission.

The doors parted before her, and Ronson appeared from somewhere nearby with a pile of padds and an apologetic expression. He seemed to be limping slightly.

" What have you done Ronson?" She asked, eyeing the Yeoman with a quizzicle expression.

" Your artwork Ma'am, I trust this is a suitable location?" He changed the subject, pointing to the painting that Savar and Aurora had gifted her. It suited the lcoation he had picked.

" Very nice - you didn't have to though." She started, before he deposited the padds on her desk and returned a moment later with a hot cup of coffee.

" You look like you need this.... Good Afternoon Ma'am" He vanished as quietly as he had entered, leaving her alone with her thoughts.

Slipping into the high backed chair behind her desk she sighed, so much for some time off and recreation.

"Ops, raise Vulcan High Command and patch it through to my office" She called through the com system, and a few moments later the Starfleet logo was replaced with that of the Vulcan High Command.

" Captain Kaylen, I am T'Lana, how may we be of assistance?" The serene Vulcan's face filled the small screen on the Captain's desk.

" My request will be two fold" Rhenora started, transferring a series of files through the secure connection.

" We have had two crewmembers telepathically assaulted whilst on Vulcan. Both have received medical care here on the Liberty but I'm concerned the perpetrator may be the same." She started, watching as T'Lana reviewed the medical and witness statements she had transferred. " Firstly - are you able to send a healer who is trained in these assaults? Secondly, are there any on Vulcan who would be able to assist us in tracking down he who is responsible for these attacks? Our counsellor felt they were targetted at crewmembers of the Liberty, and that he was untrained in telepathy and may be using some kind of device"

" I see" T'Lana said simply, turning her attention away from the communication for a moment " Dr T'Pora will be made availabe immediately, and I will be in contact shortly regarding locating the perpetrator" T'Lana was consise and to the point - as where most Vulcans.

" I appreciate your assistance and will await further instruction" Rhenora replied formally, before closing the communication and rubbing the bridge of her wrinkled nose again. A cranking headache was making itself known.
