Secret Agent Bon-Bon

Mission: Welcome Aboard!
Location: Orion Ship
Timeline: Curent

For the second time entering an Orion vessel, she experienced ‘the smell’. This one was less sex dungeon and more, garbage in nature. The odor stemmed from a simple lack of cleanliness throughout the halls as she maneuvered her way through them. The only benefit was that the lighting was sparse leaving the corridors dark in their dingy stench filled depths.

She followed the tricorder signal, dodging the light, keeping to the shadows, and avoiding tripping over the litter-strewn about. Making her way in a horizontal manner was easy. Finding a vertical path was seeming to be more difficult. There were no convenient J-tubes and the lift was a risky place for her to get caught. So she searched for access hatches and other ways to traverse the interior until finally, she entered the belly of the beast, deflector control.

She wasn’t far from engineering, but as the Liberty hadn’t targeted this area, she felt rather confident she would be left alone. Upon entering she ran her ping test again, trying to narrow down the source of the signal. Unfortunately, the signal was strong here which caused feedback in the ping. She would have to search visually, discreetly, through the computer system.

After locating the nearest console she started accessing files at the root level of the system until she worked her way into deflector control and that’s where she found the subsystem labeled communications jammer. Before doing anything she checked to see if it was tied to any alarms or other subsystems which may alert the bridge and then disabled them first to be safe. This wasn’t her first rodeo and she wanted to be safe rather than sorry as she felt she had plenty of time.

She was wrong. Several meters away a door opened flooding the local area with bright light. A large, menacing Orion stepped in, nose-first. He was sniffing the air. “Zoik smells pretty flowers.” He said into the quiet of the large, cavernous room.

Bonnie didn’t have time to think, she ducked into a dark corner in an attempt to hide. She then sniffed the cloak and realized she could hide visually, but not cover the olfactory fragrance emanating from it. Zoik moved further into the interior, the doors closed behind him. At least he was alone, but his nose was going to least him right to her and he didn’t sound like an intelligent one to begin with.

She slipped out of the cloak, quietly. Then shifted her position, into a higher one. Climbing on top of some equipment. Her hope was he would find the cloak, realize it was just that and then leave. Up she went until she could not go any higher, her grip as tight as it could be on what little she had to work with. Rock wall climbing had never been a favorite sport, though her papa insisted she learn. “It’s for your benefit, trust me.” He would say to the then seven-year-old girl. She lasted a year before trying out a self-defense course. Back then she wanted to be and do everything and her papa happily encouraged her.

Zoik moved closer, bent down, and found the cloak. Disappointment filled his face as he realized his nose had misled him. He paused for a moment too long as Bonnie’s hands began to sweat. He then sniffed the air, catching whiff of Bonnie who still smelled like the cloak. Just as he looked up, the panel Bonnie had been clinging onto broke away and she fell, landing with a thud right on top of the hulking Zoik. He lay on the floor, unconscious.

“Sorry Zoik ole boy, but thanks for the soft-ish landing.” She got up quickly and made her way back to the console. It hadn’t timed out yet so she quickly deactivated the Jammer, then turned her attention to the tractor beam and did the same thing. Once done, she locked the console with a personal password ‘tails’ and left deflector control. With the jammer gone, she scanned the interior for Orions, then found the safest route back to the ‘Lustravager’ as Cody had called it.

As soon as she entered the hatch and closed it, Cody greeted her with a smile. “Fire up the engines. I’m going to try to call the Liberty.” Bonnie said as she tapped her badge.
