Mission: Healing of Minds
Location: Transporter Room

Standing on the surface of Vulcan, near the capital city of Shi'Kahr, Anna had spent the last few hours enjoying the view of the surrounding mountainscape. But now her PADD told her it was time to beam aboard, so she tapped her combadge. "Anna S. Thesia to Liberty", she said. "I'm ready to beam aboard, you see?"

"We have you Doctor. Prepare to be beamed aboard." Came the reply. An instant later Anna was standing on the transporter pad of the USS Liberty.

"Welcome aboard Doctor." The transporter tech replied trying very hard not to stare at the woman before him.

"Thank you kindly, Chief. I've got three cargo crates waiting down on the planet, could you get them aboard for me and delivered to sickbay as well?" Anna asked. "Vital medical supplies I've sourced personally, and modifications made to gear I've used before. Please handle with care." She smiled. "And no, it's not alcohol, medicinal or otherwise", she added with a smirk.

"Got it Doctor. Three crates. Shame one of em doesn't have any alcohol, you could have made a tidy profit selling it." he grinned. "Don't worry about the crate. They will all be delivered to Sickbay."

Anna brushed her hair aside and showed the transporter chief her left ear. "I'm afraid I haven't got the lobes for business", she smirked.

He nodded and grinned, "Damn shame. You could've been rich."

"Duly noted", Anna said, taking out her PADD, mumbling as she wrote, "Note to self, do very thorough liver scans."

The tech watched her, a smile on his lips, "More the pity." He whispered to himself. A fine looking woman with no business sense, what a waste. He thought.

Heading for the door, Anna waved. "You should come by sickbay after your shift. I'll start with you."

"Me?" He gulped. "Start with me for what Doctor." He stammered. "I just beamed you aboard."

"Routine physicals, of course", Anna said. She snickered to herself as she left the room. Not often did she succeed in making anyone even mildly afraid of her, and it was fun.
